Shaikh Khalid Bin Abdullah Meets Senior Participants in Gateway Gulf 2025

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, met with senior officials from Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates on the sidelines of the Gateway Gulf 2025. The meeting included discussions with Dr. Ahmed bin Aqeel Al Khateeb, Minister of Tourism of Saudi Arabia; Faisal bin Fadhil Al Ibrahim, Minister of Economy and Planning of Saudi Arabia; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates; and Ibrahim bin Yousef Al Mubarak, Assistant Minister of Investment and Chairman of the Saudi Investment Promotion Authority of Saudi Arabia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and Noor bint Ali Alkhulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development and Chief Executive of the Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB). Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah emphasized Bahrain's commitment to enhancing economic cooperation with Gulf Cooperation Council states, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Shaikh Khalid highlighted the longstanding ties between Bahrain and other GCC states, reinforcing regional partnership in development. He underscored the Kingdom's relations with Saudi Arabia and the UAE as a leading example of economic integration based on openness and sustainability. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the participants' contribution to the forum, which supports GCC economic cooperation and enhances development partnerships.

The participants in the forum expressed gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for advancing economic cooperation among GCC countries and thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for his warm welcome. They wished Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
