Samarkand: Dr. Mubarak Abdullah Butti, the Acting Secretary General of the Bahrain National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, participated in the 12th Joint Meeting of UNESCO National Commissions. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference in Samarkand, Republic of Uzbekistan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination among national commissions. Participants shared expertise and practices in education, science, culture, and communication.
Panel discussions addressed topics such as empowering youth for peace and human rights, technology's role in cultural dialogue and sustainable development, and building partnerships to enhance joint action within UNESCO's networks.
