Kuwait city: The Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC) participated in the 29th meeting of the GCC Permanent Committee of Officials of Legislative Departments, held in Kuwait.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed several key topics related to legislative cooperation among GCC countries, most notably the use of artificial intelligence in the work of legislative departments, the strategic plan of the Permanent Committee, and several proposed unified systems and laws among member states.
Other agenda items included the compilation of legislative principles issued by the legislative departments of member states, and the development of a legislative policy framework and legal drafting guide.
This meeting is part of the GCC's ongoing efforts to strengthen legislative integration and enhance mechanisms for joint legal coordination, thereby supporting the broader objectives of Gulf cooperation in the legislative and legal domains.
