HH Shaikh Isa Bin Ali Crowns Cycling Champions, Visits Operations and Media Centres

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, crowned the winners of the cycling competition held on the Nasser bin Hamad Track along Bahrain Bay Avenue as part of the Games hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali attended the award ceremony, which took place in a competitive atmosphere that reflected the event's professional organisation and high sporting standards. His Highness congratulated the top three winners and commended the strong performances and sportsmanship displayed by all participants. Wan Chun Lee of Hong Kong won the gold medal, followed by Thailand's Kittaphat Homkajorn in second place and Saudi Arabia's Taha Alkhalifah in third.

Following the ceremony, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali visited the badminton competitions, where he met several officials and volunteers and was briefed on the progress of matches and organisational arrangements inside the sports halls. His Highness also toured the Games' operations centre and main media centre at Isa Sports City, where he was updated on operational and media workflows and the role of organising teams in ensuring the smooth and professional running of events.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali expressed pride in the achievements of Bahraini teams involved in organising this continental event, noting that the successful hosting of the Games reflects the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to advance the youth and sports sectors.
