Manama: The Ministry of Social Development has signed a cooperation agreement with Al Hilal Healthcare Group to enhance healthcare services for people with determination. The agreement was signed by Ziyad Adel Darwish, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, and Dr. Sharath Chandran, CEO of Al Hilal Healthcare Group.
According to Bahrain News Agency, under the agreement, cardholders will benefit from a comprehensive range of services across Al Hilal branches, excluding Al Hilal Premier Hospital. These services include a free annual consultation across all medical specialties, a complimentary basic health check-up covering blood sugar, cholesterol, creatinine, and BMI, and a 50% discount on general, emergency, and specialist consultations. Additionally, there is a 15% discount on radiology services, including X-ray, ultrasound, CT, and MRI. Cardholders will also receive a 10% discount on procedures, surgeries, inpatient care, and injections, along with four physiotherapy sessions for a total of BHD 30.
Darwish highlighted that the partnership strengthens community engagement and expands access to specialised services, reflecting the ministry's commitment to social responsibility. Dr. Chandran noted that the initiative aligns with Al Hilal's vision to support national programmes for people with determination and promote social solidarity.
