Manama: Bahrain All Share Index and Islamic Index both recorded gains in the latest trading session. The Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,971.48 points, reflecting an increase of 0.52 points from the previous closing. This rise was primarily driven by performance in the financial sector and the consumer staples sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw an uptick, closing at 940.73 points, which is 0.67 points higher than its previous close. The trading session witnessed 103 equity transactions, involving a volume of 6,267,187 shares valued at BHD 1,372,535.
Investors showed significant interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 86.61% of the total value of securities traded, underlining the sector’s influence on the overall market movement.
