Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,044.88 points, marking a decrease of 5.78 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to a drop in the consumer discretionary sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 1,003.85 points, marking an increase of 1.59 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 134 equity transactions took place with a volume of 13,691,927, worth BD 2,869,788.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 95.33% of the total value of securities traded.
