Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,951.37 points, marking an increase of 0.74 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced growth, closing at 803.29 points, which is an increase of 3.28 points from the previous session. The results showed that 60 equity transactions took place with a volume of 461,406, amounting to BHD 179,396.
Investors primarily focused on the financial sector, which accounted for 50.30% of the total value of securities traded.
