Manama: As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness on the fundamentals of VAT and Excise and to enhance compliance, the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) announces a series of awareness workshops for 2025, targeting key legislative and procedural aspects related to VAT and Excise.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the NBR stated that these workshops will cover a range of VAT and Excise topics, including VAT invoicing compliance, VAT implementation in specific sectors, and VAT refund mechanism with a dedicated workshop for tourist VAT refund.
These workshops will span throughout the year, ensuring broad participation and maximum benefit while achieving the highest levels of efficiency and effectiveness. The launch of these workshops is part of the NBR's strategy to enhance compliance by providing an interactive educational platform that offers a detailed explanation of regulatory requirements and procedures, while also providing an opportunity for participants to address their inquiries and receive immediate responses from NBR specialists during the sessions.
