Manama: Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, visited Jalal Ionics Company "Aqua Cool" in Mina Salman Industrial Area. The visit is part of the continuous efforts to follow up on all developments and production mechanisms in the industrial sector facilities following the requirements of the local and regional market and following international standards.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister was briefed on all stages of bottled mineral water production, from harvesting and processing to bottling. Mahmoud Al Hashemi, the factory director, outlined the factory's commitment to high product quality and health and safety standards in line with international regulations.
Minister Fakhro commended the company's role in advancing Bahrain's water industry and the quality of its products. He underscored the ministry's commitment to supporting local factories in achieving the goals of the Industrial Sector Strategy (2022-2026), which aims to boost the industrial sector's GDP contribution, expand exports of national products, promote sustainable development, and create new investment and export opportunities.
