Manama: Al Baraka Islamic Bank, a leading Islamic financial institution in Bahrain, has concluded its “Future Banker” training programme, held in partnership with the Ministry of Youth Affairs. The programme aims to enhance financial literacy, encourage careers in banking, and provide practical experience in Islamic finance, responsible banking, and ethical financial principles.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, honoured the participants, highlighting the programme as a successful model of collaboration between the ministry and Al Baraka Islamic Bank. She commended the bank’s role in providing hands-on training and professional supervision, enabling young participants to develop essential banking skills.
Dr. Adel Abdullah Salem, CEO of Al Baraka Bank, underscored the bank’s commitment to initiatives that empower youth. He emphasised that Al Baraka Islamic Bank’s role extends beyond financial services, contributing to community development through strategic collaboration with government entities.
