Education Minister Highlights Bahrain’s Global Achievements on International Day of Education

Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, stated that Bahrain's educational progress reflects the support it receives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and follow up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement marking the International Day of Education, observed annually on January 24, the Minister emphasised Bahrain's pride in its accomplishments in advancing education. He highlighted the Kingdom's strong performance in global education development indicators, as reflected in international reports.

Dr. Juma noted that Bahrain has secured a distinguished international standing in the education sector, particularly in providing quality education for all, including individuals with special needs. He also cited the Kingdom's achievements in developing educational infrastructure across all levels and its success in ranking highly in various global indices, while continuing to earn notable regional and international accolades.

The Minister commended the efforts of all educational professionals, especially teachers, for their critical role in preparing future generations to contribute to comprehensive development. He affirmed the Ministry's commitment to implementing innovative initiatives aimed at enhancing educational outcomes, developing students' skills and character, and providing opportunities for those facing challenges in completing their education.

He reiterated the Ministry's belief in education as a fundamental right and its pivotal role in equipping individuals to contribute to the advancement of their communities.
