More than 13,000 people have benefitted from the first session of the “Legal Illuminations” program through its 18 lectures, Shaikha Mariam bint Abdul Wahab Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairperson of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission and Chairperson of the Follow-up Committee for the Commission’s e-Platform for Training, said.
She said that 7,886 had signed up to participate in the program and that 5,577 watched the program’s videos on the commission’s YouTube channel.
The second session will start after Eid Al Fitr as the commission plans to hold a series of legal courses on emerging issues in addition to its interactive courses relating to its legal competencies, as part of its social responsibilities in spreading legal culture, she added.
Shaikha Mariam said the commission is working on developing the program according to the recommendations of the concerned team and based on the evaluations of the participants.
She added that 2,091 people have given their evaluation and feedback on the program since its launch.
The observations and remarks were monitored and the commission responded to many of them, she said.
“According to the indices, 92.1% of the evaluators said the lectures were excellent while 89.7% said they acquired new ideas from them. We also noted that 92.2% said that the content of the lectures was of good quality, that 95.9% found the registration very easy, and that 98% said that they would encourage their colleagues to participate in the upcoming lectures,” she said.
The Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission launched the program in June through a sustainable electronic platform for remote training to contribute to the spread of legal culture.
