Tokyo, Sept. 29. (BNA) – President of the General Organisation for Youth and Sport Hishem Mohammed Al-Jowdar has asserted that the visit of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad to Japan will open up new horizons of joint cooperation in various fields, especially the youth and sport one.
He added that the visit is in line with Shaikh Nasser’s constant desire to be informed about successful experiences in youth and sports in order to take advantage of them in developing such two key sectors which enjoy the wise leadership’s constant support and follow-up.
He pointed out that Bahraini-Japanese relations have grown steadily over the past years in all fields, particularly the youth and sport ones, thanks to their sports leaders’ directives, noting that Shaikh Nasser’s meeting with Japanese youth and sports leaders will enhance joint cooperation in this regard.
GOYS President affirmed that the visit to Japan and meetings with youth and sports leaders will reflect positively on the youth and sports sector in the kingdom and pave the way for two countries to benefit from each other’s experiences and hold joint rehabilitation and training sessions, and allow sports clubs to exchange visits.
Al Jowdar added that Shaikh Nasser informed Japanese officials on the Kingdom of Bahrain’s experience in the fields of youth and sport and the wise leadership’s constant support for them, adding that the Japanese experience will inspire the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport to develop the youth and sports sector further in order to earn the kingdom more honourable achievements.
