Manama: Chief of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission (LLOC), Chancellor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, has received Law College students who underwent practical training programme in the Commission.
He praised the trainees for punctuality and commitment throughout the duration of their practical training which covered all the various duties and specialties pertaining to legal opinion and legislative issues, international conventions and agreements signed by the kingdom. The Commission provides practical training to the largest number of students in cooperation with national and overseas universities to prepare them to undertake the legal professional career efficiently as soon as they graduate and to boost their academic and career prospects as well as practical skills, he said.
The trainees paid field tours to various relevant departments in the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Public Prosecution, the Military Judiciary and the Ombudsman to familiarize themselves with the job related to their academic and professional discipline, he added.
Chancellor Hamza wished the students success in serving their nation and community, affirming the Commission’s readiness to continue to provide its contributions to develop capabilities of law students to achieve the aspired goals of the students and the beloved country.
