BAHRAIN’S FAMILY COURTS TO START SITTING ON SEPT 10

Bahrain’s family courts, will start sitting officially, on Sept 10, 2017, said the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments.

It called upon lawyers and litigators, to attend the hearing sessions, at the new headquarters of the Family Courts Complex in Hunainya.

Courts director, Mohammed Bucheeri, said that, the family reconciliation bureau would start work at the headquarters, located in West Riffa, on Sept 6.

The other sections will also start work on Sept 6, including the Alimony Fund, the Obligations and Grants.

The three-storey complex comprises 16 courts.

In addition to the family reconciliation offices, the complex also houses the Obligations and Grants, the Alimony Fund and other sections.
